do you plan to go to college?
Question by oh so lovely: do you plan to go to college?
i’m just curious how many people ACTUALLY do.
i think i’ve grown up in a bubble. lol, but seriously. i live in a nice midwestern city, and go to the nicest/highest socioeconomic high school in the entire city. i personally have never thought of college as a ‘choice’. basically i’ve learned that having an education is the key to success, and you will go a great deal farther in life with a college education. and i truly believe that ![]()
i’m a senior and already enrolled in college this fall, lol, i take my education very seriously and hope to work hard and become a doctor someday ![]()
sorry, to ramble i’m just elaborating on my suburbia bubble.
so…..just a general poll….do you plan to go to college?
if you don’t mind, include what type of city/lifestyle you come from. i’m just really curious, because i live a very sheltered life, and i just want to see how everyone else lives their lives!
i’m sure some of you are similar to me…..but others very different. and that’s okay lol ![]()
wow! everyone plans to go! awesome
go us! good luck to you all
3 Reasons We Shouldn’t Bail Out Student Loan Borrowers
Total student-loan borrowing is approaching trillion dollars and both Barack Obama and Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters are adamant some or all of that debt should be forgiven. But forgiving such loans ignores that the debt is voluntary, is relatively small for the average borrower, and merely continues the same bailout mentality that has already gutted the American economy. family problem, help please!?
Question by ☆karin☆: family problem, help please!?
i got married to the greatest guy ever, but his family just hates me!! lets put it…me & my family are very democratic & my husbands family is very republican. i grew up in japan & my husband grew up in indiana…i the way i was brought up is that im not very religious & family isn’t everything. i know in american culture that those two are very important. me & my husband are so very happy together & MY family loves us being together. we’re both university students still so we are still struggling with money. my parents do the best they can to help us, but money isn’t made from trees. my husband, jo, his family, all they’re trying to do is break us apart. his dad is taunting us with money telling jo that if he divorces me, that he will pay fully for his college, buy him a new brand car, & get to live with him in his expensive house. jo wants to stay married to me & work off all his bills while i go to school so i can pay for jo to go to college next year when i get more money from the navy. but jo’s family isn’t okay with that.
jo’s dad will send me mean & hurtful text messages to my phone telling me that im a horrible person & that im just “brain washing” or “puppeting” jo. jo’s dad will also call up my mom & complain how crappy i am & how jo should move back in with them.
