The website was www.caaworkshop.com, a letter was sent out saying it’s necessary to participate in some workshop and meeting.

It’s a scam. I got things like this in the mail too before enrolling in a college. They will want money from you somewhere…and it’s all stuff you can do for free. Just throw it out.
